Daybreak is a master-planned community on South Jordan's west side, built around 67-acre Oquirrh Lake, where residents kayak, paddleboard, and fish for bass, catfish, and trout. Housing runs the full range: Center Field Row townhomes walkable to the ballpark, lakeside homes in Lake Village and on The Island, 55+ living at SpringHouse Village, and new construction still delivering in the Upper Villages of Cascade and Watermark. The median sale price was $573,681 for the three months ending July 2026, around $244 per square foot, with homes averaging 62 days on market.
Transit is the differentiator. The TRAX Red Line runs into the community itself — Daybreak Parkway station at 11405 S Grandville Ave is the line's southwestern terminus with a 400-space free park-and-ride, and South Jordan Downtown station at 11080 S Grandville Ave opened March 2025. Mountain View Corridor (SR-85) is the freeway access. Jordan School District serves Daybreak: Daybreak, Eastlake (Mandarin immersion), Golden Fields, and Aspen elementaries, Mountain Creek Middle at 5325 Bingham Rim Rd, and Herriman High for most of the community. Early Light Academy (K–9) and American Academy of Innovation (6–12) are charters inside Daybreak.
